Be it a blog, a podcasts, or a finance related resource – here you will be able to find a range of content we found useful or insightful along our journey to financial independency.
Choose FI (US) – Brad and John are not only very empathetic hosts but they try to approach the Financial Independency subject through multiple angles. Great open minded conversations with showing multiple views of every subject they debate.
FIRE Drill (US) – Gwen and J are two female bloggers that got together to create a podcast to help people find their way through FIRE (Financial Independency, Retire Early). They represent the female FIRE community as they talk through real state, side hustles and other ways to invest your time and money.
Optimal Finance Daily (US) – Great podcast to catch up with content from various sources. OFD carefully picks content from other websites and blogs and brings it in an audioblog or blogcast form so you can catch up while doing other things. Nice relaxing voice brings the content in a peaceful way but I warn you, the advertising can be a little annoying at times.
Investment & Trading
Hargreaves Lansdown (UK) – Great investment platform to trade funds and shares. They offer investment ISA accounts and their website and mobile apps are nice and easy to use. Their trading rates are high so not great if you want to trade often.
Degiro (EU) – Wholesale broker with very low trading fees. Great if you’re an active trader. Their website and mobile apps are very easy too use. Their only downside is how long it takes to get money in and out of your Degiro account.
Money Saving Expert (UK) – Martin Lewis really is a saving expert and his website is constantly up-to-date with new ways to save you some dosh. We visit this often to see if we can learn new ways to spend less and save more.
